Congressmen Tom Tancredo (R-CO) lends support to those protesting the April 21-22 North American Leaders Summit in New Orleans U.S. Representative Tom Tancredo (R-CO) sent a statement in support of a press conference held in New Orleans by the Coalition to Block the North American Union during the SPP meeting between President George W. Bush, Canadian Prime Minister Steven Harper and Mexican President Felipe Calderon. In his remarks he said “Like you, I have voiced concerns about the activities of the trilateral ‘Security and Sovereignty Partnership’ (SPP) and the creation of a North American Union”. He continues to say “I have asked the Commerce Department to suspend participation in the SPP until the serious questions of sovereignty raised by these recommendations could be addressed.” Click here to open a PDF of Congressman Tancredo’s entire statement.
